Marketplace Terms

These terms govern purchases made through the SkyLink API Data Marketplace and apply in addition to our general Terms and Conditions, which continue to govern access to the SkyLink API service itself.
Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a database from the Data Marketplace (the “Product”), you agree to be bound by these Marketplace Terms. If you do not agree, please do not complete the purchase.
What You're Buying
Each Product is a one-time purchase of a downloadable dataset under a commercial license, delivered as self-hosted files (JSON, CSV and/or SQL depending on the Product) via a personal product key. The purchase includes a fixed period of free updates (stated on the Product page) during which refreshed exports are made available at no extra cost. After that window, continued access to new updates requires resubscribing at the then-current price — files you already downloaded remain yours to keep and use under the commercial license.
License Key & Account Restrictions
Your license key and download links are issued to you personally or to your organization for your own internal or product use only. They are non-transferable.
Sharing, publishing, or reselling your license key or download links is a breach of these Terms and will result in immediate revocation of access without refund.
Permitted & Prohibited Use
4.1 Permitted Use
Under the commercial license, you may:
- Use the data inside your own commercial products, apps, and internal tools
- Modify, transform, and integrate the data into your own systems
- Use the data for both personal and commercial projects

Data Accuracy & Disclaimer
Where stated, accuracy figures reflect a benchmark comparison against a specific reference source (noted on the Product page) at the time of publication and are not a certification, guarantee, or warranty of correctness. Data is provided “as is” and may contain errors, omissions, or become outdated between update cycles.
Not certified for safety-critical use: Marketplace data is not certified by any aviation authority and must not be used for primary navigation, air traffic control, or other safety-critical decisions. It may be used for general operational or business purposes — analytics, internal tooling, product features, and similar — entirely at your own risk and responsibility. Always verify against official aeronautical sources before relying on it operationally.
No Warranty & Limitation of Liability
Products are sold without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. In no event shall SkyLink API be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of revenue, data, or business — arising out of or related to your use of a purchased Product, regardless of the cause of action or theory of liability, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Payments & Refunds
Marketplace purchases are sold through Polar, at the price stated on the Product page. Polar is our merchant of record and the seller of record for the transaction: they take payment, determine and remit tax, and issue your invoice. Your purchase contract for payment is therefore with Polar, under their terms, while these Terms govern the licence you receive and what you may do with the data.
All Marketplace purchases are final. We do not offer refunds once a license key has been issued, except where required by applicable law.
Consumers in the EU and UK. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded are unaffected by the paragraph above, including any right of withdrawal for digital content. Because Polar is the seller of record and delivers the Product immediately on purchase, those rights are exercised against Polar and under their terms, including any consent to immediate performance their checkout collects. Start with Polar, and contact us if you need help reaching a resolution. This paragraph does not apply to business purchases.
Termination
We may revoke access to a Product, including your license key and download links, at any time without refund if we determine, in our reasonable judgment, that you have breached these Terms — in particular the restrictions on sharing, reselling, or redistributing your license key or the raw dataset.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict of law provisions, and together with any directly applicable European Union law. The courts of Milan, Italy have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you purchase as a consumer, nothing here deprives you of the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your own courts.
