Flight Status
Real-time operational status for a single scheduled flight by IATA flight number (2-letter airline prefix + digits, e.g. BA123).
v2 limitation: IATA flight numbers only — no ICAO operator prefix support. For ICAO callsign lookup (e.g. BAW123), use the v3 Flight Status API.
Gate, terminal, baggage, and check-in fields are frequently empty strings ("") until published by the airline or airport.

Gate and terminal notes
terminal, gate, baggage, and checkin are often empty strings until the airline publishes them. Display neutral placeholders, not error states.

404 - flight not found
