Questions about the dataset
A commercial license: you may use the Airline Database inside your own products, apps and internal tools, including paid and commercial offerings. You may not resell or redistribute the raw dataset itself as a competing database.
A single purchase includes two years of updates. Whenever the dataset is refreshed — new carriers, mergers, code changes — you get access to the updated exports at no extra cost for two years from your purchase date.
Your downloaded data is yours to keep and keep using under the commercial license. To continue receiving fresh updates after the two-year window, you simply resubscribe at the then-current price.
Every purchase includes all three formats — JSON, CSV and SQL — so you can pick whatever fits your stack. There is no per-format upsell.
After checkout you receive a product key that unlocks self-hosted download links for each format. The same key gives you access to refreshed exports throughout your two-year update window.
We benchmark the dataset at 99% accuracy compared against ICAO Doc 8585 (Designators for Aircraft Operating Agencies, Aeronautical Authorities and Services). The asterisk on “99% accuracy” refers to that comparison.
